Privacy Policy

Human Context uses your LinkedIn-derived contact data as the identity baseline for your private relationship graph. This data is imported by you, stored in your account, and is only used to help you understand and manage your own network.

If you choose to connect Gmail, Human Context requests read-only access to your Gmail account through Google's OAuth service. We use this access to extract relationship evidence such as:

• Known email addresses and interaction dates
• Thread participants and message metadata
• Sentiment and context signals that help reconstruct how you know someone

We minimize access to raw email content. Where possible, we parse only the headers, participants, and timestamps needed to build relationship context. Raw message bodies are not retained longer than necessary and are not used for any purpose other than serving your account.

Google OAuth tokens are stored server-side in encrypted form. They are never exposed in the client, shared with other users, or embedded in URLs. Tokens are refreshed automatically and revoked when you disconnect Gmail or delete your account.

Google user data obtained through Gmail OAuth is used solely to enrich your private relationship graph inside Human Context. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties. We do not use it for advertising, user profiling beyond your own account, or model training.

You can disconnect Gmail at any time from the Connections & privacy settings. Disconnecting revokes the OAuth grant and stops further data collection. You may also request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at james.riley@lightsparkinc.com.

Optional integrations with third-party services, including Google and LinkedIn, use your own accounts and credentials. These services are optional, and you control when they are connected. Human Context does not assume ownership of data held in those services.
